The sky is filled with Angels
With puffy lacy wings
The remnants of God's beauty
With treasures they now bring

Each one of them a Guardian
That travels in the sky
To watch throughout eternity
Their parents from on high

Smiles that come from Angels
They fall like crystal rain
Eases earthly burdens
Lifting all life's pain

Halos so astounding
That glitter gold each day
Following their loved ones
In such a perfect way

Wings in gentle breezes
That fall from up above
Kissing every parent
With everlasting love

Angels soar through heaven
With everlasting light
Looking down from heaven
Saying their "goodnights"

Kissing all who loved them
So gently on the face
This life's tender mercy
Each parent can embrace

Wings and shiny halos
Travel from on high
Surrounding all their loved ones
They never say good-bye.

I found this poem and thought it was so beautiful. To know what our loved ones above are doing and how they are now taking care of us. Enjoy it as I have.

Hey little man. I could not find a john deere to send your way, so sending you a cute Teddy instead. You are spending this special day with many Heroes, from many places and I bet that is joyous for you. If you can find my Dad, have a chat with him and I am sure he can tell you some wonderful stories from when he was in the Army :)

I hope you know that you too are a hero. To your friends and family below because you watch over them every day and that is hard work, but you do it with a smile on and pride in your heart I bet. I also bet you love flying around with your wings of gold and you go so fast :)
